Telehealth Informed Consent Document: Do You Have One?

Published on: 16th November, 2021

You've likely been practicing telehealth for some time now, so now it's time to double check to make sure that you have the documentation you need in place. Clients who have never received telehealth services before might not be sure what to expect. Some might be nervous about new technology, and others might have concerns about confidentiality. Your telehealth informed consent helps answer clients' common questions and helps them know how to prepare for their sessions. Having this form in place also helps you with compliance and best practices.

If you're ready to double check your work, let's get started!

Attorney Dan Mayer and David Yood, PsyD, a group practice owner, are here to help! Combining humor with personal anecdotes, Dan and Dave draw upon their experience to talk about all the nitty-gritty legal, ethical, clinical, and business-related issues that you need to know about.
